The Lodge of Research No. 2429 welcomed Dr. Andy Green as its new Master at their November 2024 meeting.
Dr. Green marked his installation with a fascinating inaugural lecture on “University Freemasonry.” His presentation took attendees on a historical journey, tracing the development of Masonic lodges within universities from their earliest beginnings to the thriving network of today’s Universities Scheme.
The Lodge was particularly honored by the presence of David Williamson, Past Assistant Grand Master and past President of the Universities Scheme, as well as Stephen Wyer, Chairman of the Universities Scheme.
